Yes, insurance is a requirement for any storage unit. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, it may also extend to your storage unit. If you do not have your insurance, we require SBOA Tenant Insurance for your items. It is recommended that customers utilize our plan even if they are using their homeowners or renter's policy, as it prevents your insurance premiums from going up in the event of a claim and pays out prior to insurance claims.
All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.

I booked online about an hour before they closed on Saturday. The person working at the front desk called to let me know they were closing soon. When I arrived, it turned out I did not complete all the paperwork correctly. The front desk person was very professional, friendly, and worked efficiently to get it all straighten out before they closed. Thank you!

Came in the day before Thanksgiving 2023 the lady helping me first initial started with D, im terrible with names I meet too many people to care but she was great. gate code did not work the first time but everything was perfect im not a fan of online stuff and that's how I did my lease, but the process went smooth and I feel hundreds of pounds lighter storing my stuff here. Glad to alleviate my life here for a moment.

I needed a storage unit quick following rain damage on my house. I called at about 5:10pm, and they close at 5:30. Chris was super helpful and was able to show me a unit, and complete my lease agreement within 20 or so minutes. He was very kind and helpful. The storage units themselves are kept very clean and accessible.

Easy, breezy...signed up for one of the smaller units and paid my first reduced rent online. I got a confirmation, drove over and started completing the form and filling up my space. Everything is very clean, cool, convenient and has a fresh scent; the receptionist Randy was extremely helpful showing me around. I would recommend this storage facility anytime!
Awesome facility. They have carts to help you move stuff. Even better, they don't lock the carts up when the office closes like at US Storage across the street. I was able to get 1st month free at RightSpace too! Lots of good pricing options, my unit, 5×10, is right by the entrance for $70 a month . Friendly staff. Overall I am very happy with the experience. If you have renters insurance they can waive the extra insurance charge, like 10 bucks a month. Also, if you book an appointment online someone will call you like an hour after your appointment. If you tell them, "I liked the RightSpace unit but I am checking out another storage solution before I sign.". They will offer to waive the admin fee which is like $20 day of move in. So with these couple of tactics I was able to move in free for a month. Besides buying a lock for 8 bucks. And I swear to Jesus the girl behind me in line gave the front desk guy the lock as she was moving out. If I would have let her go in front of me I would have got a free lock too. Still salty about that a little.

The location is convenient in Midtown Phoenix, aside from having to work around the 7th Street rush hour times. Short of actually helping to move the stuff, the staff is consistently friendly and happy to help in any way possible for them. They respond to calls and voicemails in a timely manner. They also have been helpful in finding the best unit available in your price range. The climate control is not a/c but it's not bad to work in even in the middle of summer. The hours of operation are reasonable with electronic gates and video surveillance keeping out most of the riff-raff. The only complaint I have is the place was broken into once and items were stolen from a few units, including mine. This was not covered by any insurance, neither theirs nor mine. However, an insurance policy is now part of the cost of the units. But it's still an affordable rate. I have been leasing from them for years - longer than I'd like to admit to. lol

What a great place this is! We live out of state and for 10 years have kept things of our daughter's in a small locker. Last week she and I cleared the locker and were assisted by Doug. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Hands down the best storage unit I've ever dealt with! Units are secure, clean and climate controlled. Thomas was AMAZING. We were coming from Idaho to clean out our sons unit.(as he is out of the country) We had a few issues that could of caused us to have to stay two more days (losing work hours and costing us more in hotel cost) We found out two hours before arriving that my sons roommates lost his key. I also found out that the storage units hours were different then I had figured. Thomas assured us he would take care of us even if he had to stay late and he did. This was a very stressful situation for us trying to get a lock smith out in time and all. Thomas was so helpful and professional! he truly cared that we were taken care of. THANK YOU SO MUCH THOMAS. YOU DESERVE A RAISE!! I cant thank you enough for helping us thru a stressful situation. YOU ARE THE BEST!

Well I guess it's been 3 years plus that I've had storage at Smart Bargain, and I wouldn't trade them for anyone else. Happy to throw them a good review. Brittany is the coolest onsite mgr you'll ever meet, and the place is clean and climate controlled and keypad entry and security cameras and loading dock and carts and freight elevator and they even give ya a disk-style lock when ya rent from them. And they're CHEAPER than pretty much everyone else in the area. If ya need storage, renting from Smart Bargain is kinda a no-brainer, ya just do it. And if ya do, tell Brittany (or Thomas, the saturday guy) that PRIME sent ya. Cause they have a little referral program too.

I can't believe how helpful these facilities are! I was referred to this facility by another manager in Texas because I'm traveling to Arizona to purchase some guitars that I needed to store inside where it was cool until I have time to ship them back home. Luckily I spoke with Brittany! She was able to get me into a small unit at a heck of a deal! I can't believe how little I'm paying for this storage.

I was looking at storing places for when I was away from school at ASU, and didn't know where to start. The guy I met on Saturday (Thomas I think?) did a great job of explaining the pricing and storage options, and I'm no longer lost! I'll definitely be going to Smart bargain when I'm away from school!

I've rented from Smart Bargain for 2 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's by far the best storage facility I've used - and a lot cheaper than most, too. I'm there a lot, and I've come to know the place well. It's safe, clean, climate-controlled, great loading dock, carts available, unit variety from about 5x5 to about 25x25, reasonable access hours plus some external 24-hour units, and outstanding staff of Brittany (mgr, weekdays), Pia (Saturdays), and L.A. and Jennifer as floats. They also have a referral program for customers, so if you decide to rent there, tell them Vara sent you. That's V-A-R-A!! :-)
Very Nice and Units were spotless, I was shopping around looking for a decent place to store some furniture for my father who's moving to a 55+ community. After dealing with places that looked ok online but much different in person I found this location shown to me by LA. She was attentive and listened to my needs and found a solution quickly. I've been renting a space here for several months. It's always nice and cool inside so no need to worry about my belongings getting destroyed by the heat. Today I had a chance to meet the on-site mgr LA (like the city). I had a minor problem and she got on it right away and was as friendly as she could be.
