(Super easy and Super convenient) The only thing I had to show up to the office to buy was the storage room specific lock (which was $17.00) Painful price, but super quick. Friendly staff, friendly night security, clean storage facility and rooms. I love that they are open until 10pm 7 days a week. So, I am a happy woman! 😊

The location on Wible has the best managers. Want the best deal? They gotchu. Their rates are more affordable than others and they offer insurance on your unit to make sure your stuff is safe. And best part, you can get to your storage owns early morning or late evening unlike other places here in town where the gate gets locked up at 5pm.

I have had a storage unit there for 3 yrs. The gate hours are 6am to 10 pm 7 days per week.

Hope was the best probably the best thing that happened to secure storage. I’ve been renting a storage for about five years now and have so many problems with the previous management with her coming in. Everything just seems to be real easier. She’s the best.

This place is awesome.. our experience was super smooth and so fast I couldn't believe it. I was expecting the usual long wait tedious paperwork in a Dusty hot office but not here. You can sign up and pay and reserve your spot and everything online in your own air conditioning and you don't even have to stop and see them. Hope, who is at the front desk, is the most awesome person. She will help you out and make it completely seamless and you're able to just drive in with your gate code already and go straight to your unit no brouhaha I will definitely be staying here for a long time and I recommend that you do too!

After a lost reservation at Buck Owens, and not having an adequate storage unit for me. I had went to Chester storage. The woman was more than helpful and honest about the rodent problem they have there. She was very informative and she was extremely polite and professional. Unfortunately, they were not honoring 1st month free and the unit was in the hallway which wouldn't work for me. I ended up taking a final chance with the one on Wible! Best choice by far! Herb was VERY professional and informative about everything including the gate repair etc ... He made everything prior melt away, and was no longer stressful! I am grateful everything went how it did, because I have found the right unit and even though it is a bit pricey it was still reasonable for my situation!

Great prices, and great manager! However, there is a huge security issue that is only being temporarily resolved. The fence by the freeway has been cut several times in just a month. They fix it the next day, but many storages get broken into and people are left with missing items. I believe a reasonable solution would be to have security guards present during the night time to prevent all and any further break ins. The cameras are only great for insurance purposes, but they have proven to be ineffective time and time again. Other than security being a main issue. The storage area can be one of the best in town.

I am a highly experienced Corporate Residential Property Management Professional who recently obtained the services of Extra Space Storage on 4020 Wible Road in Bakersfield, CA on 10/13/2014. I admit, I was slightly apprehensive to the idea of using a storage facility initially because it was my first time, and I wasn't sure of the process, but as I approached the office for my 5:30pm reservation I would soon learn the meaning of excellent customer service in this industry. I had the pleasure with working with an awesome manager by the name of Candace who provided me with all of the information I needed, provided me with an ultra-convenient location for storage. When I originally scheduled the reservation for a smaller unit, I noted that once I actually say the square footage wasn't enough, Candace immediately accommodated me to a larger unit in the same convenient location. The overall experience was smooth and put all my initial apprehensions to rest knowing that this facility was under the management of staff who were competent, kind, and experienced. FIVE STARS for EXTRA STORAGE SPACE on WIBLE!!!

After renting at several other local storage places and having had nothing but bad experiences from short access hours to stolen property with inoperative surveillance cameras I found EXTRA SPACE access hours from 6am to 10pm (the longest I've seen locally) Working Surveillance cameras and a not only friendly but very helpful staff, Manager Karen Martinez was very quick to not only return my call after leaving a message at closing hour but al a o to accommodate my storage needs quickly. I "totally" recommend this place to anyone needing some "EXTRA SPACE STORAGE" ...Roy M

you know whats funny, the lady never tole m her name. but she was a great help. i was out within no time. we walk all the way around the storage and she had patience and she was funny! please come here. She allow me to choose out of what storage i want. it was fun!
