Yes, insurance is a requirement for any storage unit. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, it may also extend to your storage unit. Please check your coverage with your agent to see whether storage coverage is included or can be added to your policy. If you do not have your insurance, we require SBOA Tenant Insurance for your items. It is recommended that customers utilize our plan even if they are using their homeowners or renter's policy, as it prevents your insurance premiums from going up in the event of a claim and pays out prior to insurance claims.
All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.

Access hours are when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need during office hours include rent payment – should you opt to pay in person – purchase of additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

They are slow about some things like if you get your own insurance sometime during the lease. The big thing I didn’t like was rate hikes but the site itself is quite good and secure.

Omg, I never even saw anyone other then the maintenance man. Checked in at the kiosk after making a reservation. Out comes a lock, mind you this was all done after hours. Checked out on Saturday and gave them a call. Confirmation email with zero balance. There was not a single problem. Great experience 😁👍😁

Excellent storage facility. Super clean, well lit at night, very nice on sight restroom. Our unit was very accessible and there was plenty of room to turn around to exit. Check in process could be smoother but overall it was pleasant experience.

I was with Xpress Storage for 4 and half years. The unit and grounds were always clean. The manager is very accommodating and understanding. I’ve never had any issues with this facility or company and would recommend them to anyone or use them again in the future.

No hassle is right...did it all at the kioske on site.....unit was clean and kept my items dry....only negative I would say is you have to buy the lock and it is useleass anywhere else.....but will reccomend you to future movers....nice facility.

Very clean and organized. it was easy to get in touch with an individual when there were questions or concerns. When closing the storage unit out, the customer service representative flagged the account immediately so that no fees would overflow. I will use Xpress Storage again.

Very clean and safe storage. Saw maintenance on site regularly cleaning and checking locks to make sure things were up to par. You can open your storage account on site and pay at their kiosk (which is closed and can lock for safety while you are doing your transaction). Then, you can start loading up your unit immediately. They have the locks for sale in the kiosk that come with three keys. Also, you can manage your account online and make payments as well as starting your storage via the Internet. Plenty of room for moving trucks to maneuver. Mine was 26’. Whenever I called the staff, they always answered. All in all, I highly recommend Xpress Storage.

Having previously rented at their Ellenton Location and been VERY happy, when I needed storage further North I chose this company specifically. I was used to dealing with a live person , not an automated Kiosk but things went very smoothly and they have someone you can speak to if any issues arise. Clean, well lit and ease of access. Highly recommend!

The facility is great, very clean and well kept. The no person Kiosk software leaves a lot to be desired. It gave me an entry code that would not work, could not get through the process without the phone support, and could not use it to check out, (no option was available), very irritating. I guess I'm old fashioned, and would rather deal with a real person. I now have a lock I had to buy that will only work at that facility which makes the advertised price inaccurate. Have your insurance papers ready, or you have to buy insurance from them. The facility is well lit for night access.
