The facility is very clean and well kept. Scott the manager made the rental process easy and was very friendly. I've used this facility before and always had a positive experience.

We arrived at your site rather frustrated. The house we had rented for the week did not tell us they only allowed for 2 cars and threatened to tow within 8 hours of our arrival if we did not move my car. They led us to believe that Southern had an agreement with them. When we arrived we were greeted by a very pleasant lady named Brittney. She checked and double checked and there was no such agreement. She called our rental place and they didn’t offer any help. She told us that Southern was all booked in that location but there was another one and she would help us reserve there. It was 30 minutes away. She recommended a couple of other places. As we were leaving she all but ran us down and told us a spot had just opened up. She was kind, patient, and exceptionally helpful. She went above and beyond expectations. You don’t earn all of these 5 stars ratings accidentally. Thank you for being so helpful.

I cant thank Southern Self Storage enough. We had a problem with an HOA while visiting 30A (Highland Park). The HOA president would not let us park our car 2 feet in the pine straw. Mel and team were super generous for understanding and letting us park our car there. Literally saved our vacation.

They were super easy to work with, and I was able to complete everything over the phone and via email which was helpful since I arrived after hours. Brandi was awesome. Clean space, user friendly facility. The use of the truck policy might be different at this location than the Destin one; Destin is free anytime I thought.

Visually saw active video monitoring and gate access control. Easy to access building and elevator. Bins and moving dollies provided. Visually see water sprinkler system installed in unit. Overall couldn't have been any easier!

It was a very good experience . Everything about the experience was perfect. The building itself was clean, tidy, secure and conveniently located . it is actually one stop shopping ..not only do they offer clean and secure storage units but they offer sturdy boxes and supplies at reasonable prices including locks. Mel at the desk could not have been nicer. He walked us to and showed us the available unit and was very informative explaining everything to us.

They made it super easy to store our trailer there for the week.

We now have 3 storage units at this facility. The experience in setting up each one has been nothing less than flawless. We just contracted a small unit at Southern Self Storage Grayton Beach and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of both Ken and Charlene. We got an excellent location at the facility and were pleased with how very clean it was. I must admit that I was sort of surprised by the price as I have a similar unit in the Atlanta area and pay half of the cost but I guess it’s the beach and there’s not as much competition. All in all it’s convenient for our needs and I know that my items will be secure and climatized.

I can't say enough about how wonderful my dealings with Southern Self Storage have been especially during Covid-19. I had a small unit and had to move into a larger unit, but I couldnt be there. Everything was very easy to sign and change over remotely without a problem. They handled everything very professionally.

Easy to rent the space. If you don’t have a lock, you can purchase one there at about the same price as Lowes. EasY to access loading.unloading area and carts are provided. The space was very clean, no smell, and they spray monthly for pest control. Thanks!

Very friendly and helpful property manager. Managers are onsite till evening and video security is used 24/7. The 3 story climate controlled building is surrounded by fencing and 2 large gates that you can access with your pin after hours. They offer a free truck rental for move in day plus moving supplies. The place is super clean and very accessible. Prices are no more and no less than other places.

We are adding a larger garage and carriage house to our home and needed a place to store all the things that are currently in our small garage. I was so thrilled to find this extremely clean and convenient storage facility just 3 miles from our house. Charlene has been so helpful and I was so glad to finally meet her in person when we moved our belongings. They have carts and wheeled beds for you to use and even a large truck all for free. We only had to pay to replace the gas we used. If you are looking for storage needs in Santa Rosa Beach, look no further as Southern Self Storage is the best!

I can't say enough good things about the folks at Southern Self Storage in Grayton Beach. After a house fire, we needed a unit on the spot and they went above and beyond to help us get everything set up quickly. They also helped us manage sending billing payments to our insurance company. The facility was always well kept and no matter what time of day or night we needed to get in to our unit it was always easily accessible and felt safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful and as a bonus--even the bathrooms are kept spotlessly clean! If I ever have another need for storage services in the area this will be the first place I call.

First and foremost, Charlene is an angel! We could find no storages in Bay County. We were extremely stressed, worried and concerned we wouldn't find anything. I called Southern Storage in Panama City Beach, and a sweet lady led me to my family's angel! She had two huge storages available to store our stuff until we could move into our condo. Charlene was helpful, courteous, caring, informative and so very kind! We plan on keeping one of our storages there after we move into our condo.
