Easy to get to convenient storage. Lots of options to choose from and Sue is great. She keeps an eye on things and is very helpful! Some pot holes around the area need to be repaired though.

I normally don't leave reviews... good or bad. Although, I recently visited iStorage - Glenview location. Where I met Sue who was SUPER awesome!!! She helped me on the process of clearing out my mothers storage units and filing my POA documents. Unfortunately I feel like great customer service is a rare thing now-a-days. This is a fantastic storage facility. I kept some items in here for about 4 years because I downsized homes. The facility is clean and well cared for. Lots of options for unit sizes. Great Air Conditioning as well. Sue is fantastic! She is incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. She was very kind and accommodating every time I spoke with her. Including a couple of times where I called a day or so late to pay my bill. Always kind. Sue really is wonderful and I have to say too that she really saved me recently. I had lost the key to my storage unit. I spoke with her on the phone about my options. She was super helpful and told me that they could provide locksmith services. They said I could bring my own in if I can beat their rate. The quote she gave me sounded really reasonable and I had no desire to shop around. I was happy that Sue was being so accommodating and working with me in my problem. We made arrangements for me to come in and have the lock broken. While I was there and talking with her I told her I was upset because my car keys were also in that list car ring. She then opened up a drawer and pulled out my missing keys!!! She says she had found them in the street outside. With no way of knowing who’s they were (and being confused how someone could drive off without their car keys) she saved them in case someone came back. My lock keys are on a different key ring then the vehicle I drive there. With two sets of keys and carrying boxes they must have fallen out of my pocket. I was so thankful to Sue that she had saved them and then had the good instincts to ask me before we busted the lock. I had my house keys and car keys on there so it was tremendous that Sue saved them and then had them for me. Thank you Sue for the big save and thank you for 4 years of great storage. I would highly advise anyone needing storage to go to Sue at iStorage!

Susan Hoffmann is the Istorage manager for this glenview location, We did a paid reservation on the phone with a Istorage agent but they provided so many misleading information about the facility. When we arrived at the glenview Istorage location we met with the manager Susan H. She was very friendly welcoming cool mannered and made us feel comfortable also explaining to us everything about the storage space thoroughly in detail which she was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to her. She got in contact with her boss and told him about the negative experience and lies with the call center agents we went through. And they offered us a cool/heat storage with elevator just what we originally requested for the same price and offered us a sincere apology for the bad experience with the call center agents. Susan H. And her boss are a great role model that others should learn from such as coaching and training. Great job both of you, we appreciate your help and assistance in making it happen. We have had a storage unit at I storage on Milwaukee ave in Glenview. Sue has been more than helpful with getting a unit, questions and follow up. She was amazingly understanding with a few challenges we had in losing our keys and getting a very fast resolution for our movers getting into the unit. 1/25/2021 After signing up online yesterday, I went to the site today and I was disappointed that the locker was not in an optimal location for my trailer to unload. Steven, who is the manager on site gave me over the top customer service by walking the entire site in the cold and reassigning me a different locker in a much better location. No hassle, efficient and very fast customer service. All done online with no contact! They also have a great site and very secure metal walls dividing the units. I am very happy and I highly recommend this place because Steven gave over the top customer service,. He gets it!

Jim was a pleasure to deal with on renting my unit. In fact, I even rented a second unit in order to store all my stuff that wouldn't fit in the POD. I am remodeling my house, so this storage unit was close to my house and at a reasonable price.

I always give a 5 star Review whenever I deal with Sue, but this time she was not there and I was helped by a different person. He tried to be helpful but was clearly not in the same league as Sue and much much less knowledgeable. He kindly offered me a padlock to use while I moved stuff out of one locker to put into a new double locker. However, when I pointed out that the new locker has two locks and they are the barrel type locks he seemed a little confused and informed me that he could not help me now because it was his lunch break. Strange. Still a nice guy.

First time i ever rented a storage unit,and this place was really helpful,they showed me the unit,and than told me and showed me where the stairs was it,if needed. Very helpful would definitely refer friends or relatives there,plus they allow you to pick your own four digit pin for the gate unlike othere storage company the gentleman even helped us find a sister company that had an outside parking spot for my boat which is closer to where i was moving to.

Great place. I had a unit in a building on the second floor. Seems like 2 carts per building. Can be an issue if theres a lot of people there (happened to me once in the 2 two years I was there.) Otherwise, no issues really. Clean, gated with issued code. Elevator can easily fit at least a queen bed and more. Overnight access is extra but it was helpful. Bring your own lock or buy one from them. They have boxes and shipping stuff too.

this place is nice!!! from the storage units itself to the woman working behind the counter. susan made the process easy! she is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to give my husband and brother in law a tour before getting their units. will refer family and friends to this place!!

With the pandemic going almost every one dragging their feet at work with a mean attitude. It was so nice dealing with the manager Susan. Susan was a great help. I originally got one unit and I didn't realize how much stuff i had, so I had to do a transfer to a larger unit. It was 5 minutes before closing and she went out of her way to show me and my brother 4 other units. She is a wonderful employee and as painful as moving is, she made this part of it easy for my brother and I. I also had a payment issue and she resolved it right away for me. Thank you so much!

Having extra furniture, bedding and outdoor equipment can be annoying, but having istorage so close to home is very helpful. Never had any issues, the units are well maintained and staff very helpful. The lady at the front desk is always nice and pleasant.

I worked with Jim at the Glenview, IL location. Told him I had 1 unit size 5 X 10, but needed another due to a pending move. He was able to quickly set me up with a unit directly across from my existing one which really simplified things. Everything was done over the phone and on-line. A couple days later my husband and I rented a U-Haul Van and filled it with excess furniture for the new storage unit. We arrived at IStorage just as they were getting ready to take the elevator out of service for a few hours. The manager on site - Teague - helped my husband and I load the items on some carts and get them to the 2nd floor quickly so we could let the techs get started on maintenance. Everyone we deal with at IStorage has a positive, can-do attitude and we enjoy doing business with them.

Best storage facility ever

We did not expect to need a storage space. But a change in jobs had a family member living with us for a short time. The thing we forgot was what we would do with an apartments worth of supplies. We arrived mid-afternoon and before dinner had everything stores. We thought we knew what we wanted and needed but when we were looking at our original choice a suggestion to look at another space, about the same size but with a roll-up door, was made when we were wondering out loud how hard it would be to get everything in. I was looking to find a smaller storage unit and low and behold I found one and at a price that fit my budget. When I found istorage in Glenview on Milwaukee Ave,I was awestruck by the customer care I received by Sue,who is the manager at that location and I see why. Sue is without a doubt one of those individuals who treats you how you want to be treated,with respect and kindness. Sue is truly a “Diamond In The Rough” She will help you find exactly what your looking for,well,in a storage unit that is(HA!) Who knows, she might be able to find you more than that, trust me I know by talking with her. I’m very happy with my unit and I was very lucky to have found her. If you ever need a storage unit in that area, don’t hesitate giving her a call,you won’t be sorry one bit!! One quick shout out to her team member,Kaylee,she’s pretty special to.

We used this storage place for a year. Our things were safe & undamaged. I never had any issues getting in or out of the facility and the woman in the office was always pleasant & helpful (and usually has candy).

Moving can be hard. And sometimes storing your valuables is not as easy as it seems. You have to factor in cost, convenience, availability and a multitude of other factors. With all that being said, Sue and her staff at iStorage have made our difficult situation much much easier. Seamless in fact. The space is terrific. The cost is lower than most storage facilities in the North Suburbs. But by far the selling point, as I mentioned earlier, is Sue. She truly values you as a customer and will work with you in any she is able to help make your transition a tad bit more pleasant. By far one of the greatest people I have worked with within the service industry. Thank you Sue. You are the absolute best!

The cheapest storage facility around. After having used the facility back in 2013, I needed to rent a storage unit again. I shopped around and decided to come back, not only because it is the cheapest, but it is the cleanest and climate controlled as well. Sue, the manager, helped me along the way, as I took a couple of weeks to check out other places and get my affairs in order. She checked her computer and price compared for me on the spot (without my asking) and she said she checks the competitors every day to ensure iStorage is the cheapest. But price was not the only factor. It is clean, well-lit, and secure. I feel safe storing my valuables here knowing there is an iron gate with access code entry and security cameras throughout the property. Also, Sue didn't pressure me at all trying to get me to rent a unit as soon as I walked in. That is very important to me and it made me feel more comfortable. Nobody likes a fast sales pitch and being pressured into giving their hard earned money away. Knowing my situation, she gave me her business card and gave me time to do my homework. When I came back today, we toured one building and looked at several units, and looked through another building until I found my perfect match. This is a big decision, so I thank you Sue for your patience. I'm glad I decided to come back here. Although I had closer options, the little further drive is quite worth it.

Updated review. I had to move to bigger unit and Sue was very helpful and gave me enough time to move items from 2 units into one. Great pricing and Sue is always available to answer questions. Awesome experience. Aubrey was fantastic and explained everything in detail. Easy process and great people to work with.

I simply wanted to check out some units, just to get an idea if this is the route i wanted to go, after talking to the lady at the front desk, the conversation right away took off as if we knew each other for years, which t me that is very important, she was very helpfull, and you can almost always see her working and doing something around the facility, i even wanted a bigger unit short time after i rented my original unit, she made that hasssle free and i felt no weight on my shoulders, very helpfull and kind lady, the facility it self is clean, and not run down, i truly do feel safe with my belongings there, iv been there for about 4 months now or so, and shes still always nice and greets mevwith a smile, so that wasnt just a sales pitch....and there fore, least i can do here is give her 5 starts!! THANK YOU!

Unbelievable service- I've had to use a few different storage companies for different reasons lately in this area, and the service I received here was way above and beyond. I really can't believe it- I showed up with a reservation for my parents with movers, and she let the moving truck back and let the movers start unloading while we filled out paperwork inside. These people here are awesome ... I was looking for a 10x15 unit and a small unit of 5x5 heated one. I made a reservation for two units. Aubrey called me right away and have a brief discussion of the units... she informed me that Thom will take charge of me if I might checked the units... the next day Thom was there and he showed me the units and made a final reservation for the two units... for the time of my move in at Simply Self Storage, Jason was there to do all the paperwork that needs to be done... overall I can say you guys are also SIMPLY AMAZING... you guys helped me all throughout with my units... nice working with you guys...

No complaints. I started paying 17$ per month (plus 9$ insurance) for a climate controlled 5x3. They did raise the price (I think across all units) 3$ while I was there, but I can hardly say $20 per month is unreasonable. Aubrey works the front desk and is very cool, but I don't know that that matters much when you're choosing your storage needs. A thing to know is that you need 10 days notice to move out. It didn't cause trouble for me or anything, it's just a thing to know.

After searching for several self-storage places in the Glenview area I happened upon Simply Self Storage. I ended up speaking with a young gentleman named Tim, and he was more than happy to answer any questions I had. He was extremely helpful, gave me advice and very professional. Great customer service goes a long way and Tim more than delivered. Only at Simply Self Storage for three months, but Aubrey made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. Her dedication to making sure we were happy with our stay shined through on each stop. The complex allowed us great access to our unit and the facilities were always well managed and tidy. We felt that our unit was secured and didn't have any issues. I'd highly recommend Simply Self Storage Glenview to anyone looking to store their belongings!

Toured the facility today. I was disappointed in the size of the units and they were very different than listed on the website (smaller).
