Medium Self Storage Units
Medium Self Storage Units spanning 10x10 to 10x15, are designed for substantial storage needs. The 10x10 option, comparable to half of a standard one-car garage, holds contents from two bedrooms, including nightstands, bedframes, mattresses, dressers, and assorted moving boxes. For larger storage requirements, the 10x15 unit, akin to a small one-car garage, provides plenty of space for three bedrooms of furniture or an entire medium-sized apartment's belongings.
Large Self Storage Units
Large Self Storage Units can be available in 10x20, 10x25, and 10x30 sizes, catering to your bigger storage requirements. The 10x20 unit is the size of a standard one-car garage and is suitable for items from a small house or a multi-bedroom apartment, including a complete living room, kitchen, and furniture from two bedrooms. The 10x25 unit, similar to a larger one-car garage, offers enough space for a car or the furnishings of a medium-sized home, including bedroom sets, appliances, and living and dining room furniture. Our 10x30 unit, approximating a one-and-a-half car garage, can accommodate items from a 5-bedroom house, such as large appliances, TVs, sofas, dining sets, furniture from several bedrooms, and multiple large boxes.

Do I need Insurance?
Yes, insurance is a requirement for any storage unit. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, it may also extend to your storage unit. Please check your coverage with your agent to see whether storage coverage is included or can be added to your policy. If you do not have your insurance, we require SBOA Tenant Insurance for your items. It is recommended that customers utilize our plan even if they are using their homeowners or renter's policy, as it prevents your insurance premiums from going up in the event of a claim and pays out prior to insurance claims.
Is Month to Month Leasing Offered?
All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.
What documents do I need to reserve a storage unit?
A valid driver's license or Government-issued photo ID is required to rent a unit.
Is There Anything I Can't Store?
Certain items cannot be stored in your storage unit at ANY time. Here is the following list of things:
- Perishables
- Food Items, including canned/sealed goods – even water bottles
- Animals
- Stolen Property
- Hazardous or Flammable Materials
- Drugs
- Explosives/Firearms/Ammunition
- Unregistered Vehicles
- People/Yourself, i.e., seeking shelter from a storage unit
- Anything Illegal
How can I pay my rent each month for my storage unit?
We offer many convenient ways to pay at our locations: automatic payments can be set up, credit card, and cash; online, in-person, and phone payments.
What is the difference between access hours and office hours?
Access hours are when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need during office hours include rent payment – should you opt to pay in person – purchase of additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

Exceptionally managed facility. I’ve stored here for several years and have more than one unit. I’ve never had an issue that management didn’t personally and quickly resolve. (never anything major!) I will always have a need for storage and won’t go anywhere else. Highly recommended.
Cheryl keeps the grounds looking so good! I’ve seen her on her hands and knees repainting the parking lines and curbs. She works so hard. I love using secure care for all my storage needs.

This is the cleanest property out of all of the ones I’ve seen. No rodents, no roaches, parking lots clean too. It’s very well taken care of and that to me is important. The facility on American Way In Shreveport is the cleanest facilities that I have ever leased from..and the Mgr there Cheryl Jackson is a model of how management should be in All businesses. Everytime I go there I am always met with a warm smile, genuine concern and a "how can I help you Today?" Always professional and friendly . She has always resolved my concerns and always returned my calls in a timely manner .she is definitely An asset to your company!

History, The name speaks for itself.
Your employee Rebecca is amazing. Not only has she always been nice and helpful, but today she went above and beyond. I was a little distracted this morning with some stuff happening at home and after putting some things in storage, I went to inquire about moving to a larger unit. I didn't realize it was 15 min before they were supposed to open, but Rebecca had the open sign on and the door unlocked ready to help customers. She walked me through the process, and gave me tips and I told her I'd come pay the difference tomorrow and left...my new company car is the type that doesn't use a regular key, so I didn't notice until I stopped for coffee that I didn't have my keys. I knew where they were. I called Rebecca and she went to check, I left them beside my open Storage locker connected to the Lock beside a finger print kit that I had meant to take. After locking up for me and feeling pity on me for being so dumb I'm sure, and with me running out of options, she actually brought me the keys herself (after calling her boss for approval) and saved a day that didn't seem salvageable at the time. She wouldn't accept any money from me, but even so, she deserves recognition as a model employee and should be treated as such...so give her a raise. Thank you Brandon Mitchell
