I like this place. I had a unit a couple years ago and recently came back again. The temperature-controlled units keep my books and other things in good condition. Overall, the place is pretty clean and the workers are friendly.

Store manager Lisa is extremely helpful and tries her best to work with you within the constraints of the company’s policies. The old district manager, Dawn, was horrible, but they have a new district manager named Sam, who apparently is pretty decent. Nevertheless, the single only reason I’m giving a five star rating is because of the customer service. There is constant price increasing under the guise of supply and demand, however, that doesn’t hold water, because whenever there is sufficient supply, my prices never go back down. And when they go up, they go up significantly, 25 bucks per month each on average, and I have multiple units so it becomes a real hardship. They are completely inflexible in general about this. Also, there have been numerous times when the main large folding doors have been left wide open; sometimes it’s a parts issue, but then the parts don’t come for a week or two weeks. They never reduce your rates for these failures on their part either. There’s a roof leak near the upstairs elevators. That’s been there for several years and has never been addressed properly. Everything is their way because they figure they’ve got most of us over a barrel. They were much better when they were Simply Self Storage. They lure you in with relatively lower rates at the beginning, but then it’s only a few months before the increases start, and they keep on going with no end in sight.

I’ve had my stuff stored here for a few months with no issues at all. The facility is clean, safe, secure, and my stuff has yet to get damaged or tampered with. Front desk very helpful. Showed me where my unit was. Easy in and out drive. Love that there were carts to help with loading and unloading boxes and heavy items, although I think you may need 1or 2 more for the busy days. My #1 thing is there is an actual human on the property to go to should any problem occur. That alone is a 5 star in my book. Great job guys 😃👍🏻👏

iStorsge in Farmington Hills, Mi has great rates and Lisa is awesome. The facility can use some tidiness, as I walked to my unit, outside of many units were dead ants and there was a lack of carts to be found. There were short carts versus the longer carts which are greatly needed when moving items.

Lisa is great! Had a door break on me over the holiday weekend and they had it repaired next day.

I'm a long-time customer of Istorage. I remember when the manager, Lisa, first started at the Farmington Hills facility. She was by far the friendliest and most cheerful manager that I had seen at the facility since I began renting in 2007. Earlier this month, I rented a larger unit and, Lisa assisted me with my new rental. She is just as cheerful and helpful as she was when she first started at the facility. My family and I have had our belongings stored here for almost 5 years. Lisa the Mgr is knowledgeable and helpful. We selected non climate control storage unit and all of are things are in the same condition as when we first placed our items inside. Lisa always has terrific advice customized for your needs. Drive in building means you are never trying to move stuff in the rain or snow or fighting other tenants for parking space under an awning. I've been renting out a storage unit with them for about 4 years now and every time I have an issue or I need something Miss Lisa is always there to help me and even one time I was late on my payment she called me as like hey is everything okay just to make sure that I didn't forget about us and it was a reminder call cuz I totally did forget but it's more like a family compose to just a regular basic customer service and I really appreciate that especially having to put your stuff in storage and have your life separated so I have no complaints about this place and Miss Lisa D is amazing and the guy that signed me up for my unit haven't seen him in a while he's at a different location now but he was amazing also but I wouldn't trade it for any other storage unit

Lisa was very professional and helpful. She was able to assist me with finding a unit that will fit my needs. Lisa explained everything in detail as well as provided a tour of the building. Very impressed with the customer service and the clean units.

Went here as a alternative to a different storage unit I was renting. The manager Lisa was very helpful getting me storage at a great price. She was very knowledgeable with the pricing, and included insurance. As a business owner myself, needing storage for materials. I would recommend this place. THANKS LISA!!
