Today I encountered Denise at the Roseville location on Cornillie drive. Denise showed me two units I inquired and unfortunately she didn't have the 10x10 unit with the single large door available at this time. Denise took the time out of her day to call Antonio at the 12 mile location to see if he had the unit I was looking for and he did. Denise had a bubbly personality and I will most definetly be recommending her location to others looking for storage space. Antonio was ready as soon as I walked in and had everything done in a timely manner. He explained the rules/policies professionally and I will also be recommending his location to others! This is my first time ever getting a storage unit and I'm happy I was greeted by two friendly individuals today. Thank you both so much, easy 5 stars :)

My husband and I were customers here for about a year and a half using the unit to store items while selling and purchasing a new home. The 5-star rating is all about Denise, the property manager! She is a professional through and through, but more importantly, she cares about her customers. She goes above and beyond what is expected of her. I hope the corporate people at iStorage realize her value and appreciate all her hard work. I was not happy with the rate increases, but I realize that's how life is now - everything costs more. When I called to discuss the unexpected rate increase with Denise, she handled my concern with her sincere apology, even though she had nothing to do with it. Obviously, she is the property manager and does not have control over pricing. She is the heart of this particular storage facility. If you want 5-star service, this is the facility that I highly recommend.

The environment isn't in the best condition (old fence, broken concrete, fading sign), but the garages are in good condition and the place feels secure. Also, I don't know how competitive their pricing is. Very friendly staff. Update: They've fixed most of the pavement, it looks and feels much nicer to drive on. They've also replaced the sign with a new one.

My husband and I stopped in right after the office closed on Thursday evening to inquire about a storage unit. Denise had just locked the door and was headed to her car when we pulled up. She stopped and talked to us about the units. She walked us back to look at one that we were possibly interested in (size wise), and then went back into the office to get us information about pricing. We thanked her for her time and really did appreciate her going out of her way to assist us. I booked a reservation online the next morning, and she called me right after the office opened to set up a time for us to come in and do the paperwork. When I came in Friday afternoon, she was friendly and happy to show me the unit we were interested in. She explained everything as far as expenses and provided all the necessary information. Denise is definitely customer driven. She does an incredible job of being the face of this location. The unit we rented was clean, well lit, and seemed very secure. Keep up the great work, Denise!

I've never had to rent a storage unit before. My first time experience has been a delight despite the circumstances in the reason why I had to rent a unit in the first place. Denise was wonderful in helping me to choose the correct unit as I had no clue. The rows of units are well kept. No trash or things sitting outside units, etc. The front office.....it smells so good in there! As silly as that sounds, I don't know what kind of air freshener they use but it's very pleasant, to me anyway. And it's clean!! Denise is always kind as well as any other staff that I have spoken too but it's usually her. I hope I won't need to rent a storage again but if I did....I won't have to think twice. I highly recommend this location!

I had the pleasure of meeting Donna McKinney on Monday October 22, 2018. The storage unit had been taken over by Istorage and I had to renew my lease. Donna made the process very easy and quick. The property is very neat and clean. If you need a storage unit stop by and see Donna. You will not be disappointed. The property is tucked away on Cornillie Drive in Roseville , Mi. The grounds are secure and one has to have a code to enter units. Someone is in the office during the day. There is even a restroom on site, that is open when the office is. Great people. Great property. On 11/16/2018, I returned to storage unit and talked to Denise. She is very professional, knowledgeable ,pleasant and helpful. She is the kind of associate all businesses need in their employ. This kind of service is hard to come by these days. Great job Denise.

I signed up yesterday, and Fard was awesome! He began by giving me a tour of the unit to make sure it would be suitable to my needs. Then, back in the office, he was very polite and considerate, even offering me a chair due to my disability. This is the first time I've ever rented a storage unit, and I was very impressed with how helpful and clear and concise Fard was with explaining everything. He didn't rush through the sign-up process like most people do these days, but took the time to make sure I understood my obligations. When I mentioned that one of the items I'd be storing is a queen size bed, he offered to sell me a protective mattress cover at a very low price. Very nice guy! He even opened the package for me that contained the lock I had purchased because I knew I would have trouble opening it myself. Good job, Fard! You're a true gentleman and it was a real pleasure meeting you!

I just moved in this week, but I can already say that this place is a great choice! Moving from Miami, Florida, I had a reservation for a week from the day I booked, but due to storms in my drive up to Michigan, I was delayed by three days and they were kind enough to hold my reservation without any trouble. Upon check-in, Denise was extremely kind and helpful. The facility is extremely clean and they had everything I needed for my move-in. I've been back a few times to check on the space and take things out / add things, and every time I'm there, they make sure to check that I'm not breaking in, which is great for my security. Definitely recommend!!

They’re zipping around the grounds picking up litter or breaking up mounds of snow or pulling weeds. They are both very personable, helpful, and just incredibly friendly. This unit is now farther away from my new home but I actually enjoy coming in to pay my bill and catch up every month. Simply Storage should be so thankful to have two awesome employees!! Denise is so nice. She took the time to make sure the snow was cleared for me during the week I was moving in. We’re storing due to a military move and simply storage has been more than wonderful in taking care of us so far :).

I was referred by a friend who had used them when he was redoing his garage and the service was as to be expected, nothing outstanding or exceeding my expectations. I would get my reminder call that my payment was soon to be due, but due to my work hours I could not always come in to make my payment so I had to drive out of my way to drop a check off in the Dropbox or pay a fee to make a payment online. There was a snafu when I needed to prorate to move out where one person told me I could but another told me I couldn't and I never saw the same person at the site more than once, I guess there were a lot of rotating managers. Anyway we got it figured out and I was able to get my items out without issue. The property could use an upgrade, my door was made of wood and thankfully did hold up over the winter months with the snow and ice but it was definitely a concern. Overall not the best choice for storage, but definitely not the worst

The 20055 Cornillie Drive Simply Storage Service in Roseville and the Staff are Fantastic!! Denise and her staff, from the first day I registered, throughout all my drop offs and pick ups, and through the day I didn't need the storage augmentation services provided by this Simply Self Storage store was top notch all the way. I researched may storage facilities and all the Simply Self Storage facilities in the area before I chose the Cornillie Drive store. It is right next to the Home Depot at 13 Mile and Little Mack,1 Minute away from the I-94 Little Mack Exit. I needed temporary storage throughout the process of moving from one house to another. The choice of storage unit sizes, the fact that each and every storage unit is a drive up unit, the fact that the facility and the storage units are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - this all led me to choose Cornillie Drive, and Denise for my storage needs. It wasn't until all the trips to and from my storage unit that I confirmed I had made the right choice. Do yourself a favor and experience this great service. She actually took a dollar out of her own pocket because of my mistake and never allowed me to get charged a late fee. I did give the money back after I found out!!! I'm writing to review to add a little background to the Amazing Staff & Very Clean Storage Grounds! I'd also like to personally thank the staff here for helping me load my motorcycle into the back of my truck. They didn't have to but they both joined in to help me strap it down! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! Another plus is the added security cameras at the gates & around the property! I was always skeptical about getting a storage unit because I didn't like the fact that most of them are right off the main highway! This location of Simply Self Storage is prefect. It's sort of on its own private street to drive in (that's how I think of it) and the street is not busy at all. The only people that would really drive down this street are the folks who work there or the storage unit renters. That added piece of mind knowing that random people are not going to just drive by. If you're looking for a storage unit to rent I'd highly recommend this location!

Denise, the rep at the front desk, was friendly all of the time, especially over the phone. I liked how I could drive right up to my storage unit and load/unload my belongings. And I liked having several options as to how to pay my bill monthly, such as in person or online. If need be, I would use their services again in the future.
