Deonte was great to work with and very helpful getting me set up with a new unit. It's an much older facility, so lighting and amenities are not what you'd get at a new Public Storage, for example. However, the pricing is by far the most affordable I've found in Portland. Plenty of street parking and a large loading dock.

Deante was super helpful and efficient in assisting me deal with an issue. Very grateful for such excellent customer service.

Excellent experience, especially in person with Deonte(sp?). Hooked me up with a sweet first floor unit and definitely the lowest rate I could find in town.

There was initial confusion as we received an email saying our unit was reserved. But, when we contacted the office to make the payment and get specific details, there seemed to be no reservation. It did get resolved however. The individuals we then spoke to, or met at the storage center, we’re all helpful and friendly.

Deonte, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and professional throughout my experience. I really appreciated his call to inform me about the office hours and details regarding my unit reservation. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service, my unit, and the pricing! :)

The property manager here went far above and beyond for me. I lost my wallet in May 2023 near this location and it was placed in the lost and found. Ke searched for me on Google and LinkedIn and found me, contacted me, and returned my wallet in January 2024. Amazing!!! Everything was still there including some important veteran ID cards. The new property manager, Ke, was wonderfully kind, friendly, and helpful. He showed us mutinies unit options to make sure we found one we were happy with. Units are very reasonably priced for the size, ours was about 8 feet tall as well as the stated height and width. Highly recommended!

Kejon the new property manager was really friendly and walked us through the options and we got a good unit. It’s an old building but it gets the job done, and they’re bigger for the price compared to other spots nearby.

I have my stuff currently stored there from back when I lived in Portland Oregon

Went in to get a small storage unit and was abler to just walk in and get on e very quickly. Everyone there was very attentive and helped me. Storage unit was clean and was plenty of carts to load. There is no ramp but there is a loading dock you can pull up too.

I just moved into a unit here from one I had in Ridgefield with the same company and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is always kind and helpful and the spaces have high ceilings so you can really fit the most in your unit no matter the square footage. They really makes the grueling process of hauling your stuff around as easy as possible.

Clean, well cared for and maintained facilities. Staff is courteous and helpful.

Only that sucks is the hours are from 8am-5pm and there no access outside those hours

I have been a tenant at this location for over a decade, and I believe this location has been wonderful for many years. Lately, Davis has made my experience even better by his attitude, kindness, and helpfulness. I couldn't have asked for a better storage facility and staff.

Love this place and have used it twice. Unfortunately this time around, because there was no attendant present when I moved out (i guess the attendant works remotely from across the street?), I am being threatened with being charged for another months rent. I moved out a week before the 1st, swept up, took off lock, emailed them a picture of the clean space as requested etc. If they try to charge me I will be contacting my bank to claim fraud as well as filing a claim with the better business bureau. I feel disappointed and angry that they are threatening to take my hard earned money b/c they have some strange remote attendant situation and expect tenants to read sticky notes they put on their office window. I’d like to resolve this and will update effectively. Update: Issue was resolved so I am changing my rating.

Northwest Self Storage was super friendly and accommodating, and the rates were wonderful. I highly recommend bringing your own lock since even the workers there say items they are required to sell are over priced. It's wonderful that you can just come in and move out the day of without notice.

It's ok, just beware of all the homeless coming in and out of here all day. Sometimes the elevator gets stuck, overall a good place in the vicinity of downtown.

This is an adequate place for short term storage. The trade off to the slightly lower prices is that the area and facilities. Slightly sketchy and facilities are in an old building which smells musty so moisture and critters can be a concern.

Lowest price I could find on a unit! Staff is friendly, and overall it worked very well for my two months of use as I found an apartment!

Have had a storage unit with Portland Storage Too for about 10 months. So far it's been fine. Storage units are in good condition, access is easy and convenient. There are plenty of carts and a huge service elevator. I personally have had fine interactions with employees. I wish access was more convenient but based on the area it seems smart that it is locked after hours. Sometimes I feel a little worried about the transient element.
