My absolute favorite place to have a storage facility in Portland, Oregon. The staff is incredible. Facility is super clean. I can’t say anything more about this storage facility other than it’s great and the building has got a great amount of history!

I picked up a unit at NSA storage on Morrison street in Portland today, the facility is a 150 year old building (John Deer plant) really cool old building, the elevator is that old also and was having a problem when I got there but was working before I got done bringing stuff down from the fourth floor using the stairs, the manager was very helpful and willing to work with me, seemed like a very nice person. I give him a 5 out of 5 stars, Thanks

Colleen the manager has an amazing personality and exceptional professionalism. She explained the whole process, offered help, and alleviated any concerns we had. Due to her, I would highly recommend IStorage to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, low stress and friendly environment for storage

The customer service at Northwest Self Storage was great on SE Alder when I visited Portland earlier this month. Needed to move my stuff quickly and the staff: Deonte, Theresa and Isabella were excellent. They made the process of moving into my storage unit a breeze.

Started off a little frustrating. I was able to complete the process online and spoke with the representative and still I was rented I storage unit that was actually an office. Lots of confusion. Had to settle on two units instead of the one that I thought I was getting the front desk here is that the office is closed every day for an hour. Unfortunately after a week in the elevator is broken which makes using the industrial space for it’s purpose difficult and the code assigned for the gate doesn’t work so it’s been a bit tough.

Great customer service! Tad is awesome. Taught about the history of the building and helped with any issues that came up.

The property manager, Tad, was so helpful. I had to call him on the phone and was expecting the typical blase attitude you'd get from a person fielding a call from a random guy on the phone. But Tad was so friendly and helpful, when he asked me to leave a review, I knew I had to get on here and return the favor. If you want a storage place with a friendly face, go with Northwest!

Tad is wonderful! I almost thought I was moving into a new apartment and not storing my stuff in storage. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and graciously showed me around. He even told me the history of the building! I feel confident my stuff is secure as Tad frequently does rounds and the place has a strict policy about locking up at closing time. Thank you Tad.

We’ve rented storage space with these folks for over 20 years and will continue to do so. There are a wide variety of storage space sizes and, to some degree, space shapes available plus the rates are reasonable and the management attentive. Would highly recommend it for all of your storage needs.

I have been with Northwest Storage for over a decade and I am very pleased. I work with wood and antiques and need to come and go. Other storage units have made this difficult, but never NW Storage. Even during COVID and management changes NWS has remained the most personable and obliging place for me to keep my goods. If you doubt me, just try out one of their special offers. I know because Preston and Kris treated me with extra patience and care during my recent stay in the hospital. They even checked on my things for me! Easy access. (Surrounded by interesting stores you didn't know existed), and always a personable touch so needed in business today). Five stars.

The customer service is awesome, and I was stoked on the price. I've gotta one of the smallest size, if not second to the smallest, and I'm only paying like $32 a month. There are a few downfalls though, starting with the elevator. It's an old industrial type- of elevator-I never would have guessed they're still in use- and getting it to move is burdensome, along with the wait time. And there's no way of knowing which floor its on or anything other than that it's in use. More times than not I've had to haul my belongings up and down the stairs, which lack even a guardrail. You also get to use your own lock, which is cool if you have access to a decent one. If not, I'd buy one beforehand. There's no security, and it'd be easy to sneak in some bolt cutters and ransack a storage before anyone was none the wiser. Also, you have only business hours to access your stuff. But, the price is right.

Portland Storage is a beautiful old Portland Building located in the Central Eastside District. The staff are helpful, respectful, and obviously care about their customers and the building. I’ve had a very positive experience renting here and have rented storage for large scale paintings on and off for the last decade. I’m happy to have a creative space here now. I highly recommend working with Portland Storage and a big shout out for above and beyond good customer service from Daniel, Eric, and Tom.

Neat old storage building with different floor plans that are roughed in but complete rooms. Only issues are elevator is shut off at 5:30pm and the place closes at 11pm

Staff here was beyond helpful when dealing my with my moving van rental. They're flexible and wil absolutely work with you. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

This is my favorite storage experience ever. The giant historic brick building, the sexy as hell freight elevator, the random artists and craftspeople that populate this place. Staff is nice. space is fine. The bathroom is helpful.

Quirky place but gave straight answers with no BS.

Nice place.but be aware you can not access this storage or your unit after 6 o'clock. If your like me and work till 5.30 you well have less than half an hour to get their and get to your unit. I was told you have till 10 but policy has changed.

Pretty sweet deal for storage! Close in SE location, friendly helpful staff, funky Portland vibe, and great deals. I wasn't able to find a better deal for the size of storage unit I needed and location. Definitely an older building, but it's not damp or mildewed so I feel comfortable storing my belongings here. I needed to upgrade to a larger unit and was able to move down the hall the same day. They also have artists studios on the top floor which I just find to be a cool addition :) Check them out!

Genuinely helpful and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices, often with additional deals and discounts. Come prepared to wait 15 mins for the massive, ancient freight elevator and you'll have a great self-storage experience.

Wendy and Ellen made my experience at Portland Storage Company incredible. I talked to so many companies and was impressed with them. Super friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate me. But it went past them getting the first check. They just are that way. Fair pricing, great intro rate, clean facility, no smell, nice docks and ramp, ample carts, 24 hour call center, and a massive elevator for moving. There is no way to beat this place. And to the owners........you have gems in Wendy and Ellen. And no, I am not their friend or relative. Just a super satisfied customer! I rarely take the time to write these but they deserve it. If you need a storage facility be sure to put this one on your short list and go check it out.

The women in the office are very nice. There's a parking lot with dock, large elevator and carts. It made moving easy :)
