I've been renting storage at NW storage for almost a year. Before the new manager, Isiah, arrived the storage location was in bad condition and run unprofessionally. Isiah really got the location in excellent condition and is maintaining it. He is professional, helpful, and kind. I thought someone had taken an item out of my unit that I left unmonitored due to trying to get phone reception. I looked everywhere fore it and told Isiah. Isiah checked the CC TV and the record of who was in the building during the time. I was so amazed he took the time to do that. Fortunately, I made a mistake and located the item in another location. I promptly told Isiah my mistake because he was still helping me. I am grateful that NW Storage has such a great manager.

NW Storage is a good place to store your things safely. Its convenient and kept clean and the new manager was very helpful when I had an issue with a billing problem. But He was able to get it taken care of immediately which I so appreciated.

Cody was very helpful and patient. I appreciated the time he took to answer all my questions. He even showed me where my unit was located in the facility. Edit: Isaiah was so accommodating today. This was the first time putting stuff in my unit but got there at closing time. Not only did Isaiah let us stay for a while to get my stuff into my unit, but Isaiah was cleaning the floor of my unit when I got there. That was so thoughtful. I was blown away!

I had a VERY positive experience with this storage facility, the staff went above and beyond to help me figure out some logistical challenges I had with move out. Their customer service was exemplary!

When I first rented a unit at Northwest self storage on 2093 Southeast 82nd avenue Portland Oregon, I let some other person give me a bad opinion of this facility. I wrote a scathing review that they in no way deserved. I am trying to find that review and edit it or remove it completely. Isaiah is so so caring ,friendly ,wonderful knowledgeable that I friend or you didn't know people like him existed. As far as the units go, I have never seen a bit of dust, any kind of moisture at all, and absolutely no damage to my property. Not only that the rent is reasonable, and you get all the help you need from customer service. Although I don't see Lynn as often, she's pretty friendly too! And I love her car LOL

The two guys working Saturday morning 6/29/24 (wish I caught their names), along with about 5 other good samaritans there today, helped me get into my car after locking my keys inside. There I stood while a group of strangers - one of which just so happened to be a locksmith - huddled and brainstormed around my car with various tools to maneuver a long piece of wire inside and manage to press the “unlock” button on my passenger side door. It was an ordeal and I’m amazed they figured it out. The two staff helped look for anything that may help us get inside and were so kind when I would have been at a loss of what to do, or forced to spend a lot of unexpected time and cash to hire a locksmith service. I’m thankful to the two NSA guys who helped me today, along with the other humans there who offered to help without skipping a beat. Lots of good karma coming your way!!!

This location is great. It’s conveniently located, has great staff (shoutout to Cody and Isaiah), and is clean. The drive in parking bay is an added bonus since it’s helpful for safety (indoors and lighted) and weather. Would recommend!

Cody was so helpful! It was obvious there was a LOT going on the day I came in, but they remained calm and professional and helped me figure out the building and my new storage rental. Prior to and while helping me, they had multiple other customers asking for their attention. They didn’t get frustrated or flustered, just really chill. I know how difficult those situations can be, so I wanted to give a shoutout. Building is clean, extra secure(the carts are locked too so they’re always available). Well ventilated, straight forward parking situation. Only downside is the hours, but I imagine that’s because of how you access the units(driving through the actual building). Personally, the drive through is a plus because my stuff isn’t exposed to the elements at all when I’m loading/unloading my vehicle(a struggle with my previous unit). Impressed!

Reserved my unit online which was super easy. Showed up after 4 with our first trailer load. We got 2 carts and made our way up. Got to the unit and it had a tag on it. Well dang....then the manager, Isaiah came around the corner to take the tag and let us in! Like magic! He saw us come in and knew where we were going by the online reservation. We got all unloaded but the last load was after closing so the elevator was locked. Isaiah saw I had just the one last load to take up so he came out, (before I could figure out what was going on) to unlock the elevator to let us up. He then waited patiently for us to grab up all our straps ams tarps so he could let us out of the building. This location is really clean, especially for where it is on 82nd. The only downside? No access after 6 during the week and 5 on the weekends. Totally understandable bc of the location but still, when you work a sporadic schedule the cut off time sucks. This is my 2nd time with Northwest self storage. If you need a storage facility, definitely go with this company. There are many different sizes and price points to choose from, you'll surely find something to fit your needs. 😁

Seems very secure and Isiah at the front desk was extremely helpful with getting me settled in.

The younger male worker usually works the evening has been pretty cool with us and made sure to be polite, but also not afraid to enforce the storage policy rules before closing time. We appreciate his friendly service, but also his ability to treat us with respect.

The location on South E. 82nd Ave. and SE. Brooklyn St. is one of the gneissic and cleanest location I have ever rented from. They have great prices and the staff Lynn and Isaiah are great at Customer Service by listening and operating services that you will not see at any other locationthat I have rented from It has been three weeks since I rented a storage unit from this location and since then I have rented two more only because the staff here goes out of their way and every way possible to help you. They have a positive attitude and they recognize you as a real customer

My out of town son asked me to get something from his unit. Long story short , he gave me the wrong number and I got locked in the stair well! Elijah at the 82nd branch not only opened the locked door when he heard my frantic knocks, he also gave me the correct unit number, walked me to the unit and made sure I had permission. What could have been a long ordeal, ended up going pretty smoothy.

Manager and staff here were very helpful in showing me multiple units so I could decide which one I wanted. Even ran the numbers on multiple units so I could make sure it was within my price range. Very helpful staff! And the halls are very clean.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could. I'm rounding up... The onsite staff was great or I would give this place fewer stars. There was a period where they weren't fully staffed but have hired new PM staff and everyone I dealt with in person was very helpful and friendly. The facilities themselves are new and nice enough. My unit did get broken into though after being there for only a few weeks. The insurance was easy to deal with and I got compensated with not much hassle, just had to do the paperwork. The corporate side of things was frustrating. They didn't have a good online account management system when I started. They've implemented one but when they did my autopay stopped and I ended up being charged a late fee because I missed the message to reset things up. The rates were cheaper than other places nearby but they raised my rate after just a few months. That's a huge turn off. I ended up moving out. I feel the rate should be set for at least the first year.

Great employees clean facility except they have a rodent problem and they have an access problem it is difficult to access your storage unit and the hours that you’re told you can access and for some reason nobody can figure out how to make it not be a problem anymore I originally wrote this 2 months ago just after moving in a month or two. Not sure if access ability got fixed yet or not but this is still a great storage just because the property manager is fabulous. It’s terrible that people can’t figure out how to drive into and out of the building without damaging things but at least the employees are easy, efficient and a pleasure to work with.

I had a good experience the other day. I was pressed to get a storage unit to store my new couch. Jamie helped me through the whole process and she did a wonderful job. The next day I needed to go back to put my own lock on my unit. The on site manager was there, can't recall his name. But he helped me get to my unit and told me few more rules and did a great job too. I have nothing but praise for the crew at NW Self Storage.

The Property Manager was informed, on top of things & worked very efficiently! He made my move in decision & process go very smoothly and quickly! You can tell he takes pride in whipping this location into shape! He is doing a great job for his company! The company itself needs to provide more structure for security measures by adding a secured gate enclosure around the car entry location (thereby protecting the moving bay), in my opinion!
