Yesterday afternoon, I dropped off a suitcase at my unit in Secure Care Self Storage on the West Loop in Longview. I rolled up the door to find water covering the floor. Luckily, my totes were only wet on the bottom. Staff employee Kellie immediately came to my aid- helping me relocate my things to an empty unit nearby. I received a discount on the rent, too! Thanks to Kellie and her colleagues for the care they provide for my stuff!

SecurCare's facilities are just what the name says, very secure. In all the years that I've used them, I have never had a problem. Not from other people, not from the elements. The staff is always friendly and helpful. (I guess that's where the "Care" half of the name comes from because they certainly do.) I highly recommend this company.

I rented a 15 ft truck for a local move and the experience was great. Brian and Clarise were awesome. The truck was clean and really nice to drive. Brian walked us out amd made sure we had everything we needed. Easy and smooth transition. Thanks uhaul!

Michelle was most helpful as usual and got me lined out on what I needed to do on short notice. As she was going to be out of the office on the day was going to come by she got me lined out with Mona at the location up the road. Mona was great and got me signed up for another unit. The staff regularly maintains a clean and clear environment. The price point for all of the above is very competitive if you are just needing a short-term storage solution (<18 months). The reason this review is not 5 stars is because people looking for a long-term storage solution (>18 months) here will potentially end up paying a considerable premium for it. Securcare Self Storage itself is just one of the storage companies in the NSA Brands family, which is an estate investment trust comprised of 12 self storage brands. This means Securcare Self Storage is part of a publicly traded entity whose primary concern is reasonable returns for its investors. The corporate directives to drive profit hinder the ability of the individuals operating the branches themselves to limit rate increases for the benefit of their customers. While an increase of 5-15% a year, depending on factors that influence overhead, seems reasonable, I was paying 73% over the starting rate after approximately 4 years. Michele, who operates this branch, worked as much as she could, with the authority available to her, to find a reasonable solution to rectify my situation, but unfortunately, I ultimately chose an alternative solution that better fit within my financial situation. In summary, I highly recommend this location for individuals looking for a short-term storage solution (<18 months) on the bases of customer service, condition, security, and convenience of the facility, and the starting rate, and I leave a word of financial caution for renters seeking a longer-term storage solution.

Our company has had a unit at SecureCare for a little over 3 years now. They have always been very easy to work with and suited our needs to a tee. We are moving the contents of the unit to a facility in Lindale which is much closer to where we all live now. Melissa has been a great help to us in facilitating our move. We couldn’t ask for a nicer, friendlier person to deal with! 5 star service all the way!!

Overall the SecurCare Storage facility in north Longview is a good place to store whatever you need to store. It is climate controlled. Michele made it easy to get signed up and accommodate us with a good space that met our needs. It's easy to get in and out of the storage area and there are usually several carts available to help you move your belongings to your unit.

Only rented a storage unit for 2 months due to me switching apartments but the customer service from Janice was awesome! She answered every question I had, helped me during the process of renting a uhaul twice and save me money on getting a smaller unit for my things. Granted, this was my very first time renting a storage unit btw so at first I picked a unit online that was too big! Overall very helpful from start to finish! My things were safe and no signs of critters or anything roaming around. Securcare Self Storage is a great choice! The manager Janice is friendly and very welcoming which was nice especially after a long moving process. This storage facility is huge, climate-control, clean, well-lighted, organized and customer service oriented. Its easily accessible as you can load in the front or the side at the drive-thru which was huge. The halls within the facility are wide enough to move things to. The units are clean and well lighted. Janice let me know I could transfer units when I told her I was moving things into my place but would leave behind two big items. Well, the month went by fast, and I forgot, lol. Well, when I was paying my bill, she remembered I moved out and reminded me again about the transfers. I’m glad she did as it helped me reduce my future rent payments especially since I didn’t need the space, lol. Thanks Janice! They really help the customers here when they can. We had two units here during our move. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We really took advantage of the ability to back our vehicles into the facility to load and unload in all types of weather. The climate controlled units were very clean and well maintained. She was excellent at multi-tasking because of course when I walked in phones started rining and people starting coming in.... she maintained a smile while she helped us all and we were in and out quickly. The appearance of the office was clean and professional and the premises and storage units were so clean. Ive used storage units before and they had carb webs and were extremely dusty with trash in them she exceeded all of my expectations even with helping me determine the size unit I needed. I would recommend the longview location next to shogun off loop 281 to anyone. I truly do appreciate your patience and kindness and ability to help me smile durning the hectic time of moving around the holidays..
