All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.

Access hours are when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need during office hours include rent payment – should you opt to pay in person – purchase of additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

Mr. Vicente was incredibly sweet twords myself, my sister and my son when we went for a trailer. He was able to assist me quickly with the prices and totals being more affordable than most and was kind to us when hooking it up for us at the end. He explained the wires hooked up for the brake lights and turning signals and he explained the speed limit on the trailer to ensure we don't hurt our selves or the items we were moving. He was also kind enough to offer my son a candy when he was becoming fussy in the office but that did not faze Mr. Vicente! He upsold me on needing a storage unit for the amount of time we had to move, explaining that it would cut down the stress of our timely move into 2. It was worth it, let me tell you. With the heat recently we needed the extra time. Mr. Vicente was very professional and detailed when it came to which size we would need for the items we were moving that weekend. 10 out of 10 - will absolutely be going back to rent from him again. Thank you Vicente!!!! Highly recommended for anyone's moving needs, ask for him specifically.

I have been with this company for 8 years and recently vacated 2 of the 3 units I had. I have dealt with several different managers in the past, but have never experienced the level of professionalism as I received in the past days. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate me in the time of need and was extremely helpful throughout the time. Overall experience was decent but rental price increases seemed frequent and overall appearance of the property seemed to be in decline. Perimeter fencing was knocked down by a wind storm and hadn’t been repaired in a while, making our items on the property less secure. With increasing competition from other storage unit properties, I was able to find a bigger, climate controlled property for the rate increase Move It was going to charge me.

The gentlemen (Vicente and Joel) that helped us get into, not one, not two, but THREE units to get completely moved out of a home we had sold were AMAZING! Move it self storage at north 10th has a helpful staff. I had booked a 5x10 but quickly realized it would not fit my needs. The staff were able to upgrade me to a 10x10 for only 8 bucks a month more. Its a good deal for the location.

When my move out date came fast approaching, Move-it storage was the first place I found that was both affordable and convenient for me, both when it came to resources and logistics. I even rented my uHaul truck there, which seemed to be managed by the same team! The customer rep that helped me throughout the entire process, Richard, made the whole experience a lot less stressful for me. My only criticism is that on my move in date, when I had a minor issue and I went to the office to ask for assistance, there were about ten customers ahead of me waiting to be helped, and only Richard was manning the store. I would suggest management hires an extra hand for high-traffic days like that Saturday that I moved in, so customers aren't waiting in an already stressful moving time and so there isn't so much pressure on the one employee working the store.
From the time of reserving a space and choosing the right size storage unit to going over the contract with representative; my renting experience was done with ease. All my questions were answered. I felt that they valued my time and followed up every way via email, text and a phone call before the end of the same day I reserved the unit.
I have had storage units here since 2000. I like the location and the renovations they have made to the office. Richard has been very cordial and helpful. I appreciate the courtesy shown in these few months. I look forward to doing business here in the future.
I have ben using this facility for 4+ years now. It was then North 10th Storage. I have since taken notice that Move It Self Storage has saturated the market not only in McAllen but in serveral of our neighboring valley towns. With the change came office renovations, a new sign, and a change in personnel to the North 10th location. Frankly, I miss the old North 10th Storage staff and their small town quaintness and charm. As for the new staff, I appreciate the electronic monthly reminder and the credit to my account for havng posted this review. By the way, the office looks rather nice!

I had a great experience when I went to Move It to rent a storage unit. Michael Chavez was very friendly and very helpful when I inquired about renting a storage unit. He took me to different units to compare the size of the units. Michael explained the insurance requirements and payments. He also explained the procedures for entering and exiting the premises. I just moved back down to the valley from Corpus Christi. Both U-Haul stores in Corpus Christi and Down here in the valley where very quick and very cheap. When I Arrived to the U-Haul location on 10th street to return my truck Enrique from Move It self storage was very swift with his work, had me in and out in under 10 minutes. Enrique made it a very smooth, hassle free process, which is amazing just getting out of the Military and already having a raging headache. Very professional establishment.
