Yes, insurance is a requirement for any storage unit. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, it may also extend to your storage unit. Please check your coverage with your agent to see whether storage coverage is included or can be added to your policy. If you do not have your insurance, we require SBOA Tenant Insurance for your items. It is recommended that customers utilize our plan even if they are using their homeowners or renter's policy, as it prevents your insurance premiums from going up in the event of a claim and pays out prior to insurance claims.
All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.

Easy online hassle free booking. The unit was ready less than an hour later when I went in to fill it. Clean and dry unit. The only issue was the surprise insurance cost at checkout and the only way to waive it is to call to reserve.

They have a security gate and cameras everywhere and indoor and outdoor storage units . I never see any staff members ever though . It's never busy there so you have the space and opportunity to do what's needed .

The lady I met today was so kind, very helpful and attentive to detail. Ended up with a price I was very happy with, a storage unit that brings easy access and many benefits along with it. Place is under new ownership called and spoke to this one girl in Rhode Island about a storage in the New London location and she was very sweet . Absolutely professional and very informative and most of all helpful was able to get everything I needed and then some . I needed a large unit so I was across the street from the main location. It was secure, well lit, as well as easily accessible. The service when obtaining the unit was quick and painless; I believe it was the owner who helped me - it felt personal and I felt at ease putting my belongings into the trust of NL storage!

New London Self Storage is a great, very, very secure facility centrally located almost on the New London/Waterford town line. Quick and easy access directly on Bank Street/(Boston Post Road) in New London. The entrance is a gated, secure driveway with a security code touchpad entry system that you drive through. All doors entering the storage buildings have a similar security code touchpad system. Then each unit has your own padlock for final security entry to your be personal storage unit. Again it Security, Security, Security! Three layers deep for your absolute peace of mind for all your personal or business property. What more could you ask for!!!

amazing... best experience i have ever had with such a company buildings are all in good shape. i see no sign of rodent activity the climate control building really is climate controlled. in the winter, i went in there and the temperature was about 50, more or less. and never hot and excessively in that building in the summer after a year of storage, no humidity damage of the things in my unit either the people running it are professional and easy to deal with all buildings spook as if brand new highly recommend

This has been a great and easy experience. It's been over a year now and I've never had an issue. The owners were kind enough to loan me their truck to move my stuff into my unit. They know my name and always greet me with a smile. I am so lucky to have this kind of friendly atmosphere during a rough patch in my life.
NL Storage was really helpful when I needed a place to live and store my stuff in a hurry. They offer really great prices (trucks and units), compared to others around, and are patient when helping you to choose what's best. They are also really personable and eventually knew my husband and I by name .. and our dog!
