We've used 3 different storage facilities Sept. 1 apartment moves in Boston. This facility had the most parking of the 3, making loading and unloading so much less stressful than our other experiences. Neil was very helpful in making the reservation, ensuring our unit was clean, providing carts, and recommending moving assistance. The only caveat is that carts are only available during office hours, and the office is closed on Sundays (and holidays), which this year coincided with September 1st, when most of the leases in Boston turn over. While we personally were able to make other arrangements, it would be helpful if the office were open at the Brighton facility and carts were accessible on the 8/31-9/1 moving dates.

I'm pleased with the level of security at this place. The staff also let me park a U-Haul in the secured parking area while I was moving. The only downside is that some of the keys on the keypad are sticky and cause false presses.

They are friendly and professional. The place was clean and the booking process was clear. Thanks for Mike and the team.

Istorage has been a great experience for us needing last minute storage, especially working with Neil. The unit was easy to access and very clean and bright. There is so much flexibility about when to get into the unit, and the rates are great compared to other locations around Boston. Customer Service was great (in-person, not the national number.) Neal was particularly helpful getting us set up with a new contract/new rental units at the end of the day. He went out of his way to make sure we were all set with our new units and locks. Easy drive-in/drive out and three key pads for security. Storage area clean although some ceiling lights were missing in the hallway outside our unit so visibility is bad (no excuse for missing lightbulbs throughout the facility - these should ALL be replaced and working for safety reasons and visibility into individual units!) One other negative is that there is no "after hours" bathroom available which is very inconvenient. The main office bathroom is very clean - but all are locked after 6pm, even the one in the storage area which is dirty/smelly even when it is open before 6pm. Perhaps management should install a key pad lock for bathroom access to ensure it's only used by actual unit renters and then make sure it's stocked and clean for legitimate users. Five stars for customer service, but overall rating lower due to other much-needed improvements.

This is the best value for storage in the Greater Boston area. It's in a convenient location, it's safe and secure, and they even have units where you can unload indoors. Mike and his team do a great job keeping this place running smoothly.

I’m really impressed with the professionalism and care taken by the front desk person, Neil. He really helped me out when I was there and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. The facility is also in great condition. It’s very clean and well-lit. I have seen a lot of storage facilities because of my work and I’m really impressed by this how this location is being run.

Plenty of parking outside the locked gate, and then plenty of parking inside the gate. (I went to another storage facility with no outdoor parking, and there was space for only a couple of vehicles indoors.) I went to sweep out the storage locker that I had rented, but there was nothing to sweep--Neil had already done so. Facility has easy access from the parking lot via large elevators to any of the storage lockers. Facility is secure, clean, and dry.

Friendly and helpful staff!! There are a lot of storage facilities in this area that are priced similarly. To me, the differentiator comes down to the people that are running the place. Neil makes all the difference. When we moved in, he took the time to help us find the right unit with easy access. He also took the time to help us set up the account. He even called to remind me that the account just became overdue which I didn't even realize because I thought there's autopay set up. Their new computer system may be clumsy but Neil's diligence and helpfulness more than compensate the inconvenience on the technology side. Thank you, Neil!

I've been renting storage units in Boston for over 18 years, Istorage has been the most pleasant experience I've had. Mike the manager was very helpful, professional, efficient and polite, all in one, which in this post pandemic world and in the city is a miracle! Very greatfull for his help. It's impressive how he manages to multi-task all by himself. I also notice even when a costumer was in a rush or in a bad mood he rushed to help and do the best he can. I also liked the location and facilities infrastructure. Anyhow I will definitely continue to use them in future needs.

I liked how easy it was to rent a unit all online and the price was great for the area. The one thing I find kind of annoying and the reason for only 4 stars is the lack of availability of moving carts. The carts are only available in the office when the office is open. The office hours say 10-6 however I have found that the office is closed at all different hours. I’ve been moving stuff into our unit for the last week and 2 out of the 3 times during this one week, the office was closed during normal business hours. It makes it tough when you are all the way on the 3rd floor and need to move a lot of stuff. Other units with other companies I’ve had had carts readily available by the elevators in the building. I ended up needing to go to Home Depot to purchase my own dollie just to make it easier.
