The lady that works in the office is super nice and helpful! All pleasant interactions with her! Storage locker was clean and looked well maintained. Only downside is the rent going up after so many months. I'm guessing it was an introductory rate but that was not made clear when I booked the locker online. I have had a locker at another place for years and the rates haven't changed.

Ashley the manager called me and let me know I had locked my unit open. How did you know I locked it open, I asked. Her reply, it’s my job to inspect every lock everyday. It would be so easy just to zip around on the company golf cart and say yep, all checked. But no, ashley takes the time to inspect every lock every day and I’m so grateful because my unit could’ve been locked open for weeks had she not noticed and called me right away. I’m still just blown away at her level of professionalism and humble attitude. Seriously I’ve been a customer here since 2020 and I’ve seen one horrible manager after another until ashley. She has single-handedly turned this place around. Being super strict on keeping the grounds picked up and chasing off the messy scrapper types. Keeping the bathrooms always open and clean. And always adding that special touch to the office making customers feel as welcome as possible. I’ll add this, She’s also a great listener. I’m not so much a big fan of Istorage because of many reasons but I am a big fan of ashley the manager so she gets a 5 star review. Istorage gets around a 2 star, and that’s pushing it!

I can’t believe the difference! I rented a unit at another IStorage location and was dismissed like I was a nuisance each time I had to interact with the manager. My experience with Ashley has been the polar opposite! Ashley has single-handedly turned a bad taste in my mouth to a sweet experience. I am happily driving farther to the Blaine location. I’ve been renting a 10x40 storage unit here for about two years now and I like the location. Up until recently it seemed that the on-site staff really didn’t care too much about what took place there.The current caretaker Ashley has been an excellent person to deal with here because she genuinely cares about her job, the cleanliness of the entire storage facility grounds and most importantly her eagerness to help with any problems or concerns that the customers my have. Having such an enthusiastic employee in today’s day and age is a rarity and should never be taken for granted!

Easy sign-up, easy access. Unit was ready as expected. Customer support was responsive in processing my homeowners insurance. Minor issue - unit was not swept - otherwise it was in good condition. After 3 months, I received notice that rent would increase by 25%! As a result, I decided to vacate. Notification and checkout process was very easy and the property manager was helpful and friendly. I'm reducing to 3 stars due to rent increase after only 3 months.

This is by far the best rental storage facility that I’ve had the pleasure to do business with. In the new age of customers don’t matter anymore, iStorage Blaine is the exception! The facility manager was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and made sure we understood the rental agreement, how to get into the facility and gave us her phone number if we had any problems. Several times when we were either dropping items off or picking items up from our garage, we would see her out and about inspecting the units, making sure the locks were secure and sweeping out units for the next tenant. Normally I don't write reviews unless a place is either really bad or really good. In this case I really just want to put the good word in because of the consistently friendly on site manager who's been really helpful pretty much every time we've interacted. Even though the place sometimes seems like it could use some additional staff, that's understandable due to how crazy things are these days for a lot of companies, and despite all the other things I know she must be responsible for taking care of I'm really just impressed by how promptly my questions usually get answered. I'll update my review if I have any complaints, but so far my overall experience has been awesome so I hope my input helps whoever might read this as well as the company itself. :)

I have had a double length storage unit there for 4 or 5 years. It is the cleanest and best run storage facility that I have ever used. The staff were always polite and helpful even when they needed to remind me that my rent was late or I had stayed past the closing time. They were opened until 10pm when other places closed at 8 or 9 pm. The last manager Ashely was especially polite and professional.

People can make or break your day and a quick phone inquiry with the manager changed the course of my day! A big shout out to Ashley for her genuine and kind communication and people skills!! Is there an award for best manager? I nominate Ashley!

Ashley has been a GREAT on-site manager and has taken care of me (and the property!) in all aspects! She has been attentive, cheerful, competent and timely in her role as the facility manager in Blaine. Every time that I have seen her, she has a smile on her face, waves to me and makes a point of engaging me in conversation! Just where in today’s World do you find THAT in an employee? I have been at this location for 7+ years and I have seen them come, and I have seen them GO! I have seen several “train wrecks” of on-site managers, and have heard many stories of their gross incompetence! Other on-site managers were gruff, unpleasant to deal with, and one in particular was criminal in his actions! Ashley is a much welcomed breath of fresh air! It has also recently come to my attention that she manages ANOTHER facility in the area for iStorage, so she is doing DOUBLE DUTY for what … a raise, a bonus, double the pay? NOPE! C’mon iStorage Sr Management/owners, take care of your thoroughbreds before you lose them! Good help is hard to find these days … GREAT help is a rarity! Hopefully Corporate/Upper level management realizes the awesome asset that they have in Ashley and treat her accordingly!

Nice clean units, easy entrance and exits, and simple numbered layout compared to some, and with vaulted ceilings allows much more usable storage space. And very friendly property manager, a pleasure to deal with compared to some past experiences. And always got some crazy good deals goin on when looking online. Highly Recommended

I can’t begin to explain how AMAZING in IStorage Blaine is! Last April we received a letter from our landlord saying after 6 years of us being there they were taking the opportunity of the booming housing market & selling our home, they gave us 30 days to leave. In a complete panic I didn’t know what we were going to do, It was recommended to me to call IStorage and check into their rates. After shopping around they were the cheapest in a 50 mile radius especially for the biggest unit we so desperately needed. Ashley is incredible, she is on top of literally everything! She is always available & knows her job very well! It wasn’t a hour after we left once that she was on top of notifying us that our lock wasn’t properly set so we could return to fix it. We always see her on site weather it is in the office or she is walking the property checking on it! Not 1 storage place iv used in the past has shown this much care & professionalism! Ashley is courteous & genuinely cares about her tenants, their belongings & her job! I honestly have put my entire life in my 2 units & trust everything is safe! I rarely send out reviews but I needed to let people know how wonderful my experience has been here, I recommend it all the time to others & would not hesitate to be a life long customer. I get that it is just a storage locker but that is kinda the point. When someone like Ashley shows that kind of attention... it is noticeable. Last place I used I didn't lock my unit correctly and it was rummaged through by someone (yeah I know shame on me). I was in the prosses of moving stuff out so no real consequences of anything of real value getting taken. I mentioned it Ashley and she assured me she does an inspection every night to catch those things. I believe her! Great manager for sure!

The process was hassle free and the prices are very reasonable. 2023 Update: After a little over 1.5 years of renting here I now think it is no longer reasonably priced. I started paying 144$ per month at the end of 2021 and by the end of 2022 I was paying 176$ per month due to what I believe to be the new management. Now in 2023 my next bill is 195$. That is a 35% increase in price in less than 2 years. I realize the cost of everything has gone up these last few years but I have rented apartments with storage units of comparable size that are less than 100$ per month to rent. I do not believe this to be fairly priced anymore which is why I have changed my review to 3 stars.

I needed to get a storage unit for Saturday morning before they had office hours at 9. This was one of the only ones I found where you could do the whole process online and not have to first sign a contract in person or to get a lock. Definitely would recommend this storage facility.

The process to register for a storage unit was quite easy. We worked online for the initial process & then visited the site to finish signing the agreement. Everything was convenient.

Friendly staff. However beware that they do not prorate when you cancel. I just bought a house and would have made my closing date be the end of the month if I knew this. Now I am paying a full month for a little over 1 week of usage.

New owner, new management, more corporate = less user/customer friendly. That said, the units are clean, easy to access, there is good water drainage outside the units, the staff is almost always there, and the grounds are well maintained.

I rented a 10x20 unit from this facility for 4 years and was always impressed with the cleanliness of the exterior and the aisles, and always felt the facility was well-secured. Communication with the staff is easy and they've been helpful any time I've had a question.
