I just want to say how awesome Jamie is. She went the extra mile in helping me to meet my storage needs. She even made sure I got units that are right across from one another. This has made my move sooooo much less stressful. She is such a pleasant and fun manager. That is a rare gem to find nowdays.

This is a great place to rent a storage unit. The only issue I had and hope it gets corrected, is there needs to be someone in the office during business hours at the San Mateo location in Albuquerque, NM. I had reserved a unit for a particular day and when I got there no one was in the office. I came back a second time before lunch and still no one in the office. I then came back after lunch and again still no one in the office. Guess what happened next. Yes I came back a fourth time and no one in the office. So I called the toll free number and was able to get my unit that I reserved just in time before the office closed but, I still have to go the office to get my entrance code and confirm the contract. Hopefully someone will be there this time.

I have had a climate control facility for more then 4 months now. I love this location . And love my space inside. A lil pricey but it's worth it. .thank you7

Someone actually answered the phone which is good. I had a storage in a short time and it was easy to find . Just a little bit expensive.

Just got my storage and haven't had to much time to speak on anything more than the initial renting experience. Staff I met was friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Now only time will tell whether or not I chose the ***Right Space*** storage for my needs.

Christina is very helpful and efficient. I found the property clean and it has easy access. I visited several other self-storage location which did not come close to as clean or professional. Beware other locations may require you to pay a monthly insurance fee on top of your rent and it ranges from $15-25 in my limited experience.

Great little storage place, and the couple who run the place are awesome. Remind me of mom and dad.

I recently relocated to Texas and had to rent a storage place for 60 days. Very short term. A colleague recommended American Self Storage and told me the young couple there was amazing and very nice and professional. He was right! Amanda and Alex were very easy to work with. I also used them to rent a Penske Truck for my move when the time came. One thing I just noticed as I was writing this review is some lady posted that she did not get a refund after moving out at the first of the month. I had a similar situation where I moved out several days into the month but I didn't have a problem with any of it as the policy was explained to me when I rented the space. If this customer had a problem it had to be her attitude or lack of understanding of the policy. I didn't have an issue, they were very easy to work with. I hate seeing 1 star reviews on anything due to a customer not understanding something when the info is available or just plain entitlement. Anyway, I love the place and I really enjoyed working with Amanda and Alex even though it was a very short term thing. Strongly recommend to anyone short term or long. God Bless

I've been through a few storages here in Albuquerque and I can say American Self Storage is by far one of the best storages in town!! The couple that runs the place are incredible, very professional, and are always going above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and secure with your belongings being there.

I'm so glad I found this place. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and I felt confident that my belongings were safe. I like it that the building is made of cinder block. It really keeps the inside cool.

Its clean and very well maintained and secure.

All the employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. I was moving from out of state and I am lucky I selected them when storing my things. Very clean, very secure. When I bought a home a few months later the option to rent a Penske truck onsite was great. It made things really hassle free to load up everything. I would gladly recommend and would use them again.

Friendly staff, secure facility, clean grounds. Always willing to help. Accidentally had a package delivered here instead of my home, and they called me and told me that it was delivered to them and that they would hold it for me!

I absolutely love this storage unit facility. The grounds are locked with a keypad automatic gate which requires you to enter your unique pass code. This same feature is on the indoor climate controlled units. The owners are usually on site, because they live there, and everything is monitored by a closed security camera system. Also, the owners are very polite and professional. You'd be hard pressed to find such great people at any other storage facility. The indoor units are spacious, lockable with your own lock, have metal walls, and have a wire chain link top at 10-12ft high for ventilation. There is also a well maintained bathroom on site. The units are kept clean and they spray for bugs and other pests. Since I've been there, I have not seen a single one of either. For the price, you can't beat the features and security this place offers and I would highly recommend them if you're in need of a storage facility!

Great managers. I have had my furniture, etc. here for over a year. I had to actually move to a bigger space to accommodate my parents things. I am very happy with the service I have received. The managers are on site. If you need anything you can call them. The place is clean, and there seem to be good tenants there as well. I like being able to rent a Penske truck there on site. Reasonable rates.
