Used this unit for about a year and was pretty happy with it. Throughout heavy rainstorms and the ice storm, no moisture was getting into the unit. All of my belongings were in the same condition that I left them. Although, they have a pretty bad rat/mouse problem. When moving my things out, I noticed there were mouse droppings EVERYWHERE! (Note: I did not store any food items in my unit) They put a little packet of poison in there to help get rid of them, but there must have been so many, because the packet was empty by the time I left. Overall, a decent place to store your belongings, but not as clean as I would have hoped. The rent increases pretty often by significant amounts, which can be frustrating, but I understand the circumstances.

Great facilities. Clean, well-kept, great staff (short-staffed so sometimes they aren't open) and the prices are constantly going up (even after being a client for almost 5 years) but overall, a good place to keep your stuff.

The woman who runs the office at this location in Springfield is really nice. She has bent over backwards for everything that I've needed done and succeeded with all of it! I couldn't have picked a better person to manage this complex! The complex itself is nice and clean and has hours that are workable and you can make your appointment for your rental online and get your code online all at the same time so you don't even need to see somebody. They also have great rates online with great discounts. I believe right now is 2 months for half off when you rent certain storages. All in all I would recommend this complex just for the woman alone that runs it.

Thank goodness for this storage place! I had to rent a storage last minute for an unforeseen move and when I called they set me up with a great price for my first month. When I went in the receptionist was awesome and took great care of me. If I need to use a storage space in the future this is where I will go. Thank you for saving my butt.

We have been customers at Northwest Self Storage for 10 years now and we just recently downsized from one unit to another and Susan was proficient in helping us make this transition in a timely and efficient manner. We pay our bill in person and so we see her every month and she has always welcomed us in a friendly professional manner and greeted us with a smile and a great attitude! If we call and have questions she is quick to respond and help us. She is efficient and responsible in doing her job and an asset to this company! Pros: The manager there was great- easy to work with and very professional. Good hours, clean units, secure, with a lot of cameras. cons: There was a glitch in the software that caused some problems with our payment process. Not too big of a deal- all organizations have to update systems at some point. The rent went up significantly in the last month we decided to close our account. This is probably partially due to all costs going up due to inflation, but the increase was significant. This played a role in why we closed our account when we did. Over all, our experience was good. I'd use this business again if we needed a self storage membership.

I have had a long history with various storage facilities throughout my years here, and I have to say (I never post reviews), that this is one of the best storage facilities around. The customer service is top notch, its clean and accessible. Susan on Olympic is a hoot! She'll go above and beyond and keeps it real 100%.

Two lady's I see in the office (Brenn and I think Susan) are always hopefully and sweet. Always help to make sure I know what's going on. Susan is amazing but unfortunately the prices kept going up and I couldn’t afford it anymore. I found a place that was 100.00 cheaper for the same size unit but I’ll miss Susan.

Susan was such a pleasure when we checked in. The whole process was super easy. The facilities are clean well organized with plenary of light and room to maneuver large vehicles. I could not give a stronger recommendation!!

So my husband bless his soul recently got a unit as we were hitting the road for a summer of camping and travel. Needless to say at our first spot we realized we had way to much stuff. We decided to head back and reevaluate our packing options. Upon arriving at storage and seeing our unit we realized that not only did we bring way to much but our unit was way to small.and an extra charge was not in our budget. Let me say this the manager went way out of her way to help us in a time when you can hardly get someone to smile at you she was the best. If you need storage go to northwestern never go anywhere again.

She allowed me to show up 20 minutes before closing and was unbelievably patient with me. I really enjoyed the reliable service that gave me peace of mind knowing that my unit was safe and my personal items were in good hands. I took the time to write this review because I called every storage facility in the Eugene/Springfield area. I had a wide range of customer service styles performed by everyone I called. The biggest reason I went with Northwest is the communication and professionalism was worth the attention to call back to compare prices. I was even more excited about having the best deal I found on the square feet per cost. I was able to afford a bigger unit than I planned. I also was surprised that when I called to give my notice to empty my unit. I was given a chance to save money and not pay for the next month. I can't recommend a better and more professional service. No stress or complaints. Check this place out for a great deal. 👍🏼

Everything is good except the car they allow to be parked near a certain unit. I happens to be where I need to turn to leave. I have to keep backing up to make the turn without hitting the car. Not sure why it’s not parked elsewhere.

She was training a new employee, having her input my information and teaching her with so much patience and, again, was so nice, explaining the steps of the process and how to resolve an error. I'm so glad I chose the Springfield, Olympic street location. I know how nice they are and that's a pretty big deal these days! This is the second time ive got a storage from this location. And let me tell you the manager there is the best.the first time i had a storage unit there covid hit i lost my job. And she worked with me. Some of my friends who stored there stuff other places lost everything. As long as i kept in touch and maid payments regularly she never pressured me. Or said she was going to get ride of my unit if i didn't pay. Thats customer service. She is friendly and always has a smile on her face. She will forever have my business.

I'd highly recommend Northwest Self Storage, on Olympic St, in Springfield. We have never had a bad experience there. It gives us peace of mind knowing our belongings are safe. I've never seen garbage or litter anywhere on the grounds. But more importantly the customer service is exceptionally top notch. I believe the lady's name is is Marcy. She's always friendly and helpful. Not just with us. But I've been in the office when she's answered the phone. I worked in customer service for 35 yrs. I was the moderator of many classes on customer service and phone etiquette. I can only hope that I inspired my employees to do their job as well as Marcy does. Her phone etiquette and professionalism is spot on. She definitely should be acknowledged for job performance and professionalism.

I feel very lucky to have found Northwest Self Storage! I called around multiple places around town and Northwest had the cheapest rates! Marci at the front desk was amazing hooking me up with 50% off my first three months! She was very helpful showing me around and explaining policies. The units are very clean and the property is fully secure.
