Yes, insurance is a requirement for any storage unit. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, it may also extend to your storage unit. Please check your coverage with your agent to see whether storage coverage is included or can be added to your policy. If you do not have your insurance, we require SBOA Tenant Insurance for your items. It is recommended that customers utilize our plan even if they are using their homeowners or renter's policy, as it prevents your insurance premiums from going up in the event of a claim and pays out prior to insurance claims.
All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.

Access hours are when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need during office hours include rent payment – should you opt to pay in person – purchase of additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

So I have been to a couple of this businesses locations and I have met some of the RUDEST people working there, however, I went to the location on 34th yesterday and a woman named Yuana helped me get pricing on units, and we had a wonderful conversation. This is by far my favorite location and the customer service of this employee is exactly why I will be renting!

I was selling my house and needed a place to put my things while I looked for a house in another state. I like the fact that I was able to do everything online, move in, store, keeping my items safe, and return two months later to retrieve my things. The front desk was helpful when I needed them.

Everyone was incredible working with us to set up a storage. We needed corporate approval before we could proceed, so time was involved to get the documentation needed. Corey is an amazing manager that takes time to listen to your needs and point you in the right direction. If for whatever reason you can't get an issue resolved with the company by phone, by all means go into the office and speak to him. He is always happy to assist and help you come to a resolution or explain the process to you. I appreciate his honesty and dedication to his clients. He keeps the property clean, is quick to react to issues and takes pride in his work. If you are considering a storage unit in Amarillo, I recommend Tradewinds. Im uncomfortable storing my things anywhere in Amarillo due to the high crime rate but Tradewinds is the exception. A few months back, storage units all over town were being broken into. Thanks to Corey's quick thinking and response, the police were able to end the reign of criminal activity because he doesn't play around with bad people. When they showed up to his store, he made sure it was the last place they would try to steal from in Amarillo by quickly recognizing the red flags and acting before anything could happen. Please do yourself a favor and rent here. Your belongings are in the best hands you could ever ask for. Its not only safe, but you'll walk away with the knowledge that you aren't just another number in a corporate owned world. You matter at this store.
Rented a 15 x 15 and its not 15 x 15 its 15 by 13 so the thing i rented it for will not even fit so it was a pretty bad deal off the jump friendly staff bit wish i was told true specs on unit

I have had a few times where I have had to schedule payments a little late and they have worked with me aslong as I called in advance. I am always greeted with a smile. Another Attic really made a hectic move easier with their flexibilty. I was able to reserve my unit in another town and get access to my unit that evening.
